SEEKING

Equity actor for role in TOYOTA SYMPHONIES FOR YOUTH: THE COMPOSER IS DEAD.

THE INSPECTOR (any gender or ethnicity) age 25-50. Introduces instruments of the orchestra through a whimsical, whodunit mystery. Comedic ability appreciated, but not required.

The LA Phil’s pioneering Symphonies for Youth mix music with fun and fantasy for children ages 5-11. Each SFY concert is a dramatic presentation, conducted by a Dudamel Conducting Fellow and staged by theater artists.

INSTRUCTIONS

Please submit resume, headshot, and YouTube OR Vimeo link of you performing a monologue no more than 2 minutes that would be appropriate for ages 5-11. Callbacks will be virtual via Zoom.
