Theatre’s casting notes: “Everyone will sing in chorus and move sometimes in groups. All actors must be good with rhythmic movement.”

Actor 1:

Male track includes Coroebus, Gatherer and Head of Clan. Strong physical presence, can be threatening. Impulsive.

Actor 2:

Female track (25-35) includes Pyrgo, Roberta, Graffiti Artist and Lavinia. Sympathetic and adventuresome.

Actor 3:

Female track (55-75) includes Anchises, Allecto and Beroe. Mother to head of clan.

Actor 4:

Female track (25-35) includes Cassandra, Elissa and Sybil. Edgy, attractive. Strong singer sought.

Actor 5:

Female track (30s) includes Creusa, Lucy, Immigration Officer and Sybil. Female. Both sweet and stern. Strong singer sought.

Actor 6 (Achates):

Man, 35-45.

Actor 7 (Aeneas):

Man, 30-45. Hero. Driven by his emotions. Finds his strength through the course of the play. Strong singer sought.

Actor 8:

Male track (25-45) includes Storyteller, Achaemenides, Toothless Woman and Farmer. Sympathetic soul with strength. Strong singer sought. Must be able to connect with the audience.
