Performers are requested to perform a two minute prepared monologue and may be asked to read from the script.

Bring picture and resume.

Other Dates
1st rehearsal - March 3; 1st performance - March 31, 2015. Production dates run through May 15, 2015 with daytime, school week performances.

Breakdown

TALES FROM THE GARDEN is an educational touring show celebrating the rich history of New jersey. Hired to pack up a New Jersey exhibit at a local museum to storage, Leo and Agnes encounter Miss Brooks, the exhibit curator and together the three take a fun-filled journey through the history of of the Graden State. The story unfolds through dramatized storytelling highlighting the role New Jersey has played in American history as well as the state's many legends and folk tales. The production is a non-musical. The Growing Stage Theatre is located in northwestern New Jersey and no regular mass transportation is available. Own transportation is strongly recommended..

museum exhibit creator and curator, lives for her work.*

Leo
good natured mover, thinks he knows everything about NJ and knows practically nothing.*

Agnes
Leo's moving partner, hard worker, no nonsense - wants to get things done.*

*All three roles take on numerous personas throughout the piece as the play's stories and legends are dramatized.
