BREAKDOWN

SHAKESPEARE IN THE STREETS: SOCCER

SEEKING:

Hal: We see Hal grow from recent college graduate star soccer player to coach to elder in the community. He doesn’t want to take on the responsibility of his fame and talent. But is terribly likable by all. Rep’s the SouthSide of the region. Has some soccer proficiency.

Falstaff: She is the life of the party but not always the sharpest wit. But her love for her friends and her knowledge of the community is unmatched.

Hotspur: The North side equal to Hal. They are much less chill than Hal and are quick to act both on and off the pitch. We equally see Hotspur grow from green to elder.

5 Ensemble members: Any age, racial identity, gender orientation, and athletic ability. Will play many roles from the 70’s to current day. Some have soccer skills, some have Bosnian or Spanish language proficiency, and some have musical ability, but all are welcome. Specific duties assigned once cast is formed.
