Equity actors for roles in SENG’S HAIR SALON.

SYNOPSIS

At a pivotal moment of upheaval, three generations of a Southeast Asian family in South Philly clash over how their family business can remain viable and continue to serve their community.

SEEKING

• SENG: 60s, Female, Lao, owner of hair salon, widow.
• VIMALA: ALREADY CAST. 40s, Female, Lao, Seng’s daughter, devoted dreamer.
• PRINCE: 20s, Male, Lao, Vimala’s son, entrepreneurial.
• ANH: 60s, Female, Vietnamese, retired realtor and fabulous.
• SAROEUN: 40s, Female, Khmer, aspiring politician.

PREPARATION

Please prepare one (1) contemporary monologue of no longer than two (2) minutes. Also bring your headshot and resume.
