Seeking Performers of ALL ethnicities are encouraged to audition for 'The Who's Tommy' and 'The Great Amerian Trailer Park Musical'. Please see breakdown for available roles.
Preparation Prepare 1 brief contemporary monologue and 32 bars of either a rock song similar to the style of The Who's Tommy or comical contemporary musical theatre song for Trailer Park. Bring sheet music in your key. Accompanist provided. Not to exceed 2 1/2 minutes please.

TOMMY About the Play After witnessing the accidental murder of his mother's lover by his father at the age of 4, Tommy is traumatized into catatonia, and as the boy grows, he suffers abuse at the hands of his sadistic relatives and neighbors. As an adolescent, he’s discovered to have an uncanny knack for playing pinball. When his mother finally breaks through his catatonia, Tommy becomes an international pinball superstar. We’re currently seeking to cast the following principal roles: This production will embrace "Color Blind Casting." Performers of ALL ethnicities are encouraged to submit and audition. MRS WALKER 20s-30s. Mezzo Soprano. Tommy’s Mother. Strong singer /actor. Move well. CAPTAIN WALKER 20s-30s. Tenor/Baritone. Tommy’s handsome Father. A Royal Air Force Captain. Strong singer/actor. Move well. COUSIN KEVIN Teens-early 20s. Baritone. Tommy’s bully cousin. Strong singer/dancer. UNCLE ERNIE Male, plays 30s-40s. Tenor. Captain Walker’s perverted, alcoholic, older brother. Strong actor who sings and moves well. THE GYPSY 20s-30s. Soul Belt-Alto. A rocker/Tina Turner like prostitute. Addicted to drugs. TRAILER PARK About the Play There's a new tenant at Armadillo acres--and she's wreaking havoc all over Florida's most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi, the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr. Phil--loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband--the storms begin to brew. NORBERT GARSTECKI 30s-40s.High Baritone. Jeannies husband Norbert collects tolls for a living and tries to be as good a husband as one can be to an agoraphobic. A former high-school football star, he has rugged good looks marred by fatigue and the stress of his difficult marriage. PIPPI late 20s-mid 30s. Belt Soprano. Pippi is a striking beauty with a great body and a taste for clothing that shows it off. She is a professional stripper who ha goten by on her looks and talents for dancing and petty theft. She means no harm and is ready to stop making bad choices and start making changes. DUKE mid 20s. Rock Tenor. Duke is Pippi's obsessive, possessive, and excessive Magic Marker-sniffing boyfriend; "ex"boyfriend according to Pippi. Not so, according to Duke. not the brightest guy south of the Mason-Dixon Line, Duke leaves a trail of disaster in his wake wherever he goes.
