BREAKDOWN

MAGGIE PELLETIER:
Female-identifying, mid 30’s, any ethnicity. Strong cop. Great at her job. Willful, stubborn, sexy, confident. Only role not double or triple cast.

FRANK KELLER:
Male-identifying, mid 30’s, any ethnicity. Tough cop who is good at his job. Romantic lead, Frank has a tender heart. Also plays an IRISH PRIEST juggling multiple confessions, & MAJOR HARTWELL, a non-nonsense military lifer.

LYNN McCARTHY:
Female-identifying, early 20s, Caucasian. Daughter of infamous Joe McCarthy. Seemingly innocent to both her mom & fiance,but is also going through a sexual awakening. Involved in a Russian spy rendezvous gone awry. Also plays a bitter anti-marriage CLERK and OTHERS (via voiceover).

JAMES APPEL:
Male-identifying, early 20s, Caucasian. Earnest, awkward, & full of ideals. Jewish. Fiance to LYNN & is also a spy for the Russians. Also plays WOODY, a pretentious crime scene photographer, HARRY, a Southern coroner who is a fervent Eisenhower supporter & OTHERS (via voiceover)

ANDREI BORCHEVSKY:
Male-identifying, late 40s-mid 50s, any ethnicity. Russian fisherman (thick accent). He has deep feelings for both his lover MRS. KRAVITZ and also feels strong ties to his wife who is imprisoned in Russia, who he has not seen for years. Philosophical and romantic. Actor should have strong physical comedy experience. Also plays PETEY, who is FRANK’S partner at the FBI and sidekick and OTHERS (via voiceover).
