SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in Playwrights' Center's 2025-2026 Season (see breakdown). Minneapolis/St. Paul area actors with daytime availability to be considered for new play development workshops are encouraged to audition.

PREPARATION

You will be asked to read one of the sides that we provide. Please do not memorize the side. You can find the sides on our website at
pwcenter.org/apply-audition under the auditions tab. If you would like to read any of the plays that the sides come from, please email
casting@pwcenter.org.

Please enter through the front door on Myrtle Ave. Please note that any vocal warm-ups will need to be done outdoors or in a vehicle.

An additional day of principal auditions will be held on November 14th for Non-Equity, but members are welcome to attend if they choose.
Dates vary throughout the year, and casting happens on a rolling basis.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

BREAKDOWN

PLAYWRIGHTS' CENTER 2025 - 2026 SEASON

PLEASE NOTE: We are not casting for specific roles or projects at this time. After we have seen your audition, we will keep your information on file and be in touch if a role opens up that we think you could be a fit for.

Actors that auditioned or acted in a workshop during the 2024-2025 season do not need to be seen but are welcome to express interest or to send along updated headshots and/or resumes.

Playwrights' Center develops 55-60 new plays each year and seeks actors throughout the year to cast in individual development workshops. After general auditions, we will update our database of actors to be considered as roles come up. Most workshops are between 10-25 hour contracts, and almost all workshops are held on weekdays during the day.

Equity members must bring proof of Equity membership. If you have any access needs that could help support your audition, please let us know with your appointment request.
