URTA $801 weekly minimum

SEEKING

Actors of ALL ethnicities for our 2021 Virtual Interplay Zoom Reading Series including The Mountaintop, Into the Breeches, Two Degrees, and Fade. LatinX actors who are strong Spanish speakers particularly encouraged to submit.

INSTRUCTIONS

Please email a link to a video of a short monologue. YouTube on the unlisted setting or Vimeo works best. Please attached PDF of picture and resume.

Seeking actors to read the roles and seeking understudies for the following:

INTO THE BREECHES

Maggie Dalton- any ethnicity. 30's. Talented yet untested director

Celeste Fielding- any ethnicity. late 40's to late 50's . Lot's of drama. Great with language. Fancies herself a great artist and she just might be.

Ellsworth Snow- any ethnicity. 50's. Entitled, fears change. Adores his wife.

Winifred Snow- any ethnicity. 40's to 50's. Enthusiastic. Ready to try anything.

Stuart Lasker- 30's to 40's. He is gay. Company Stage manager and an enthusiastic and talented actor.

Grace Richards- any ethnicity. late 20's to early 30's. New to town. Passionate and talented.

June Bennett- any ethnicity. 20's. Eager to please ingenue of the company

Ida Green- African American. 30's to 40's. Company's costume designer and a talented actor. Practical yet full of compassion.

TWO DEGREES

Emma Phelps- any ethnicity. 50. A paleoclimatologist, who studies ice.

Clay Simpson- any ethnicity. 40. Lobbyist for a multinational mining company.

Louise Allen- any ethnicity. 50. Senator from Michigan. Old college classmate of Emma's.

Jeffrey Phelps- any ethnicity. 50. Emma's late husband.

FADE

Lucia- 28. Mexican. Strong Spanish speaker. She's Americanized Mexican who navigates the code-switching between Spanish and English as well as the rest of her globalized generation.

Abel- 30’s. Mexican. Strong Spanish speaker. Born and raised in LA. Proud of his Mexican heritage. Has a bit of a chip on his shoulder.
