Lunch from 1:30 – 2:30 New York City
Sides will be provided at the audition. Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.
Seeking (all listed roles are available):
Sylvia:
70s, Jewish. Mother and grandmother. Wealthy, generous, warm and likable. A bit eccentric. Loves the arts.
Linda:
40s-50s. Anxious, frustrated. Attractive, takes good care of herself. Thrice-divorced, still looking; has a sense of humor about it.
Helen:
40s-50s. Mother of three. Caring and considerate. The middle child.
Judith:
40s-50s. Smart, independent, no-nonsense attorney. When chaos ensues, she stays calm and focused.
Gary:
Late 40s. A truly sensitive “bleeding-heart” liberal. A nice guy. Doesn't always agree with the way other people think; follows his own heart.
Alexander:
30s, British (standard stage speech). Brilliant, charismatic and passionate. An actor/director who runs a theater company.
Rabbi Fogel:
70s. Much-respected pillar of the Jewish community. Tries to hold it together.
Miriam:
70s. Sylvia's sister, “Aunt Miriam”.
