PUMLA GOBODO-MADIKIZELA: 35-50, black female; South African psychiatrist
EUGENE DE KOCK: 40-50, white male; nicknamed “Prime Evil” due to Apartheid government sanctioned kills made

CONSTELLATIONS by Nick Payne
Performs: December 1-17, 2017

MARIANNE: 30-35, female, any ethnicity; a fiercely intelligent scientist dealing with a terminal illness; though she’s a serious professional working in the top 1% of her field, she has a quirky, head-in-the clouds quality; friendly, warm, and quick-witted, comedic chops
ROLAND: 30-35, male, any ethnicity; a charming, laid-back beekeeper; warm and open, with a good sense of humor, earthy and likable

ANCIENT HISTORY by David Ives
Performs: February 2-18, 2018

RUTH: mid-30s, Jewish female; career oriented and bent on success, able to find the laughs
JACK: mid-30s, male, any ethnicity; lapsed Catholic who scorns religion; poorly paid teacher who is happy to settle for what he has; already been through one failed marriage and weary of repeating his mistake

THE LAST FIVE YEARS by Jason Robert Brown
Performs: March 30-April 15, 2018

JAMIE: 25-35, male, any ethnicity; ambitious, lovable, yet makes unintentional choices that sabotage his own happiness; vocal range: A2-Bb4; must be 5’11” or taller

‘NIGHT, MOTHER by Marsha Norman
Performs: July 2018

JESSIE CATES: 35-45, female, any ethnicity; pale, vaguely unsteady physically, only recently gained control of herself and is determined to retain that control, aware of the clock ticking her time away, for once in her life she’s clear and communicative, surprisingly at peace and oddly amusing
THELMA CATES: 50-65, female, any ethnicity; feeling her age, takes it easy when she can or when it serves her purpose, chatty, speaks quickly and enjoys talking, her strength comes from accepting things as they are, is unswerving in that and in retaining control of her ‘household’
