In a small New Hampshire town, seven friends conspire to murder their mysterious neighbor, Joe. On the night of the killing, as they confront the many meanings of their crime, and they finally relax and laugh and love again…there's a knock on their door…

Seeking (all roles are available):

Vivy:

Woman, any ethnicity, late 20s-30s. A teacher. Loves her students, generous. Questions the actions of the group, despite the anger and fear she feels towards Joe. But in the end, she stands by their actions.

Panama:

Man, any ethnicity, late 20s-30s. Auto mechanic. Poetic and powerful leader, self-righteous and pragmatic. Others in the group look to him for assurance. In love with Vivy and always has been -- so much so that he destroyed his relationship with his wife. Haunted by that guilt. Willing to sacrifice his life to save others.

Erik:

Man, any ethnicity, late 20s-30s. Good-looking. Seen as a leader by the rest of the group. Carrying a lot of anger, yet gentle, and greatly weakened by the recent events. Married to Janis; grieving the loss of their daughter. Searching for a way to live in peace.

Hector:

Man, any ethnicity, late 20s-30s. Somewhat level-headed; elements of calm in his behavior. Has always been lonely. Accused of molesting his son, who then ran away. In love with Panama.

Lila:

Woman, any ethnicity, late 20s-30s. Attractive. Spiritual; works as a psychic, and believes in karma. Sensitive but unforgiving. Sympathetic. Great attraction to Eliseo. Felt imprisoned by the need to care for her ill mother; hates her for it, and is wracked with guilt for feeling that hate. Almost warns Joe before they set out to kill him, yet in the end, never backs down.

Eliseo:

Man, any ethnicity, late 20s-30s. Very good-looking. Uses humor and sarcasm as a defense. Cocky. Fighting to survive, despite the pain his life has handed him. Can't keep a job. Always ready to run, to escape, to try to forget past actions.

Janis:

Woman, any ethnicity, late 20s-30s. Singer, songwriter and filmmaker. Caring. Married to Erik. Maternal in her care of others. Was the only one to not raise a weapon against Joe; only filmed the murder. Still grieving the loss of her daughter.

Joe:

Man, any ethnicity, mid - late 30s. Mysterious, terrifyingly powerful. Sense of humor behind his cruelty. Has the entire town under his thumb; has control; manipulative; wealthy.
