PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Please prepare a 1 minute monologue along with a 60-90 second song excerpt. You can choose from your own songbook or from the show excerpts found at:

Please note that this production of Little Shop of Horrors will be set in modern day San Francisco Chinatown.

Some roles will be understudied.
Audrey: Asian American, 20's-30's, A conflicted yet soft hearted woman in an abusive romantic relationship. She yearns for a life of beauty and comfort that she doesn't believe she deserves. Vocal range top: D5/Vocal range bottom: G#3
Mr. Mushnik: Jewish American, mid 40's to 60's, A tired owner of a failing flower shop and Seymour's self appointed parental figure. Desperate to keep his flower shop doors open. Vocal range top: F4/Vocal range bottom: G2
Orin Scrivello: Asian American, 30's to 40's A sadistic dentist with a passion for control and power. A textbook narcissist who is also Audrey's abusive boyfriend. Vocal range top: G4/Vocal range bottom: G2
Crystal, Chiffon and Ronnette: African American, 20's to 30's, Proud. Black. Regal. This trio of women are the joy of the neighborhood. Smart, stylish, and vivacious. They see their community through a lens of hope, humor, and realism. Vocal range top: F5/Vocal range bottom:Ab3
Voice of the Plant: An actor/vocalist located offstage. The voice is that of an all powerful, no nonsense, groovy, and cunning, powerhouse. Vocal range top: G4/Vocal range bottom: G2
