BREAKDOWN
Tim / Balinese Man: Laid back and not high strung; good comedic timing
Simon: Lots of show business, and at times leans into this kind of cliché; larger than life parental figure. Needs to have a big ol' heart and great emotional capacity.
Alice: Excellent with text and physically adept and aware; aggressive, no-nonsense, says whatever without thinking about it first; has the ability and range to hold back and unleash it all.
Margie: A tough-as-nails fighter. Funny, specific and can make sense of and go fast with complex language. Can make you laugh and cry in the same beat; good comedic timing.
Constantine: A young lover with a strange animal-ness who pursues love on instinct.
Laurence: One part vulnerable teddy bear, one part wealthy silver fox. Very simple in some ways and takes everything at face value.
Margie's heart: a soft, guiding presence throughout the play. Must be able to sing a capella.
