SEEKING
ENSEMBLE SINGERS WHO DANCE:
Male and female singers to populate the world of La Cage Aux Folles including Les Cagelles. The Cagelles will be required to dance musical theatre and tap as well as be excellent singers.
PREPARATION
Please bring book of music and prepare a short selection in the style of, or from, the show. Absolutely no contemporary musical theatre or pop. Also bring a photo and resume. Callbacks will be in early December.

BREAKDOWN
Seeking:
LES CAGELLES: Male, drag performers in the St. Tropez nightclub. Must dance and tap in heels. All must sing well with various ranges. Actively seeking all ethnicities. Les Cagelles will include:
Chantal - the opera diva - very proud of her unique vocal ability. Excellent dancer (tap and theatre dance). Spectacular falsetto voice.
Mercedes - the “old gal” of the chorus line, a big personality who often steps in as the ‘star’ at the club when Za Za is indisposed. Great with comedy. Excellent dancer (tap and theatre dance).
Phaedra - “the Enigma.” Gorgeous and a little ‘otherworldly’ with a personality reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe’s on screen persona. Excellent dancer (tap and theatre dance).
Hanna from Hamburg - Powerful and tall, Hannah is always ready to share her knowledge of the disciplinary arts. Excellent dancer (tap and theatre dance).
Female Ensemble - Bitelle, & Angelique, VERY tall women (preferably over 5’9”) who sing well and are excellent dancers.
