BAD BOOKS by Sharyn Rothstein

First Rehearsal: August 12, 2025
First Performance: September 3, 2025
Closing: September 21, 2025

THE LIBRARIAN (Female, 35+; any race/ethnicity) - May have lived in a city, thought she would, or left one behind. Funny with a side of sly. Undeniably smart. Loves her job — most of the time.

Also plays:

  • THE MANAGER – A corporate middle-manager on the rise. Compulsively inarticulate. Something surprising — almost violent — dressed in management training. Loves her job and her fish.
  • THE EDITOR – Another mother. A hugger. Loves a good book. Wants to help.

THE MOTHER (Female, late 30s–50s; any race/ethnicity) - A Woman Who Cares. Has lived a surprising amount of life. More layered than she appears — or is allowed to be. Genuinely religious. Loves her children, always.

KING JAMES by Rajiv Joseph

First Rehearsal: September 23, 2025
First Performance: October 15, 2025
Closing: November 2, 2025

SHAWN (Male, Black; plays ages 21, 27, 31, and 33) - Quietly confident. A writer and hard-core basketball fan. Thinks before he speaks, but always has an opinion. Ambitious, but doesn’t wear it on his sleeve.

MATT (Male, White; plays ages 21, 27, 31, and 33) - Messy, emotional, and talkative. Works in a wine bar. Funny with a restless energy. A devoted basketball fan who talks before he thinks.

REINDEER SESSIONS by Eric Ulloa

First Rehearsal: November 18, 2025
First Performance: December 3, 2025
Closing: December 14, 2025

BLITZEN (Male, 30s–40s; any race/ethnicity) – Role already cast - The everyperson. Uses sarcasm and humor to deflect. Represents the way we point fingers outward rather than inward.

DR. ARBOR (Female, 50s; any race/ethnicity) - A psychologist. Grounded, professional, and emotionally perceptive.

MILKWEED by Wendy Dann

First Rehearsal: February 3, 2026
First Performance: February 25, 2026
Closing: March 15, 2026

THE PHYSICIST (Male, mid-30s; any race/ethnicity) - A rising academic star and bestselling author. Charismatic and self-aware.

THE GRAD STUDENT (Female, late 20s; any race/ethnicity) - A graduate acting student taking physics as an elective. Exceptionally bright.

THE PROFESSOR (Female, early 40s; any race/ethnicity) - A theatre faculty member. Magnetic, sharp, and compelling.

THE UNDERGRAD (Male, 20; any race/ethnicity) - A physics student taking theatre as an elective. Brainy, hip, and charismatic.

FEAST by Megan Gogerty

First Rehearsal: April 14, 2026
First Performance: May 6, 2026
Closing: May 24, 2026

AGATHAE (Female, 40+; any race/ethnicity) - Grendel’s mother. Ageless in spirit. Commanding, ancient, and wise.
