SYNOPSIS: Everyone knows the MGM classic Singin’ in the Rain starring Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor, and Debbie Reynolds. Once released, the film was lightning in a bottle – but during production it was all chaos as Gene Kelly navigated studio politics, dwindling resources, and his own complicated love triangle. Kelly was determined to keep both his longtime collaborator Stanley Donen and trusted assistant Jeanne Coyne on set... despite the fact that they'd just divorced, and the torch Coyne carried for Kelly was the reason why. To top it off, their newly hired co-star Debbie Reynolds couldn’t even dance. One of the greatest movie musicals of all time is born in this intimate backstage play featuring the iconic music, songs, and dance of golden-age Hollywood.

SEEKING:

  • GENE KELLY (male, Tenor/Baritone, 40s) - Our central character and a true triple threat; Gene is athletic, masculine, fiery, suave, and well versed in tap, ballet, and partnering. Known for both his genius and madness, he guides us through the story with his determination, dynamic personality, and charm.
  • STANLEY DONEN (male, Baritone, 20s – 30s) - Gene’s writing, choreography, and directing partner in “Singin’ in the Rain”. Another true triple threat, Stanley is quintessentially youthful, quick, and funny, yet very emotionally volatile when it comes to his relationship with Gene, and their shared relationship with Jeanne. Most proficiency is needed in tap, ballet/jazz and partnering experience are a plus.
  • JEANNE COYNE (female, Alto/Belter, 20s) - A dancer first, Jeanne is another triple threat and a pivotal creative and life partner to Gene and Stanley. She is beautiful, complex, loyal, passionate, and captivating. Performs the iconic ‘Green Girl’ duet with Gene. A strong singer.
  • ARTHUR FREED (male, Comedic Baritone, 50s) - An American lyricist and award-winning Hollywood film producer who jump-started Gene’s film career and produced “Singin’ in the Rain”. He is bustling yet succinct, polished, and direct with a sense of humor. A strong singer and mover.
  • DEBBIE REYNOLDS (female, Light Mezzo-Sop, 20s) - A young, beautiful, earnest, naive, and charming golden age performer. While an singer first, this role requires excellent tap dance abilities; other styles of dance proficiency are a plus.

THE DA VINCI CODE

Based on the novel The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
Adapted for the stage by Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abe
Director - Matthew McGee
Rehearses: 10/20/26 - 11/06/26
Runs: 11/06/26 - 12/06/26

SYNOPSIS: In this thrilling stage adaptation of the international bestseller, Professor Robert Langdon is called to the Louvre in the dead of night, where he unwittingly becomes the center of a murder investigation. When cryptologist Sophie Neveu arrives at the scene, she alerts Robert that, not only is he being asked to solve the crime, but he is also the prime suspect. Soon they are in a race against time to clear Robert's name and decipher a labyrinthine code before a shocking historical secret is lost forever. From Paris to London and beyond, freeFall audiences will follow along with Robert and Sophie as they solve this pulse-racing mystery.

SEEKING:

  • ROBERT LANGDON: (male, 40s) – Brilliant Harvard professor of symbology — intellectual, composed, and instinctively curious. Thrust into the heart of a murder investigation at the Louvre, Langdon becomes an unwitting hero, caught in a web of ancient secrets, religious conspiracies, and life-or-death stakes. Though more at home in lecture halls than on the run, he must rely on his encyclopedic knowledge, quick thinking, and unshakable logic to decipher cryptic clues and stay one step ahead of danger. Reluctant but resilient, Langdon is a man of reason navigating a world of faith, myth, and deception.
  • SOPHIE NEVEU: (female, 30s) – Gifted cryptologist with the French Judicial Police — sharp, intuitive, and deeply driven. Raised by her grandfather after a tragic car accident claimed the rest of her family, Sophie developed an early fascination with codes, puzzles, and hidden meanings. Beneath her composed, analytical exterior lies a woman shaped by loss and driven by a search for truth. When thrust into a deadly mystery alongside Robert Langdon, Sophie becomes both partner and key to unraveling the secrets of the Holy Grail. Her intelligence is matched by emotional resilience, and as layers of her past are revealed, she discovers that the mystery is more personal than she ever imagined.
  • SIR LEIGH TEABING: ROLE IS CAST.

    SEEKING

replacement actors only. (male, 60s) – Brilliant yet eccentric English nobleman — an esteemed Knight and former Royal Historian, known for his vast wealth, sharp intellect, and unapologetic flamboyance. He walks with a cane, more out of theatrical flair than necessity, and is utterly consumed by his lifelong obsession: the mystery of the Holy Grail. He believes he alone possesses the intelligence to uncover what he calls “the ultimate Truth.” This relentless conviction drives him to orchestrate a complex and deadly conspiracy, adopting the secretive persona of The Teacher to manipulate others and commit murder — all in pursuit of what he sees as a noble cause.
  • SILAS: (male, late 20s-30s) – Devout monk of Opus Dei who is physically imposing yet emotionally scarred. Haunted by a traumatic past marked by cruelty and rejection, he has found purpose through faith and discipline. Silas becomes the unwitting instrument of a larger, darker agenda when he is manipulated by the mysterious Teacher and tricked into committing murder in the name of divine purpose. Beneath his violent actions lies a tragic soul, desperate to be loved, forgiven, and saved.
  • JACQUES SAUNIÈRE: (male, 60s) – Distinguished curator at the Louvre, a man of profound intellect, quiet charisma, and deep secrets. As the beloved grandfather of Sophie Neveu, he is both her mentor and guardian, shaping her childhood with riddles, codes, and ancient lore. A passionate scholar of Leonardo da Vinci, goddess iconography, and esoteric symbolism, Saunière is more than a museum figure — he is a gatekeeper of a hidden truth. His shocking murder becomes the catalyst for the unraveling of a centuries-old mystery, but even in death, his brilliance guides Sophie and Robert Langdon through a labyrinth of clues.
  • BEZU FACHE: (male, 40s-50s) – Formidable Captain of the French Judicial Police — intense, disciplined, and unyielding. Deeply religious and fiercely loyal to justice, Fache is a man who trusts both his instincts and the cutting-edge technology at his disposal. However, his reliance on order and control can cloud his judgment, leading him down the wrong path. His investigative style is aggressive, often bordering on unorthodox, but beneath the stern exterior lies a man driven by integrity and a genuine desire to protect the truth.
  • RÉMY LEGALUDEC/PHILIP/OFFICER: (male, late 20s-30s) REMY is a refined and discreet manservant to Sir Leigh Teabing — loyal in appearance, but ultimately self-serving. Rémy becomes entangled in the hunt for the Holy Grail not out of belief or curiosity, but for profit. Willing to betray and deceive, he aligns himself with the mysterious Teacher in hopes of a handsome reward. PHILIP (Philippe) is Sophie Neveu’s long-lost brother — a quiet guardian living in the shadows, dedicated to preserving the sanctity of Rosslyn Chapel in Edinburgh. Raised apart from Sophie after a tragic family past, Philippe has lived a life of secrecy, solitude, and spiritual purpose. Though he remains hidden from the world, his connection to the Grail runs deep. He is the final protector of a sacred legacy — and a symbol of the family Sophie thought she had lost forever.
  • ENSEMBLE (2): Various other roles played by the ensemble.
