Seeking the following:
BUCK O'NEIL
black ballplayer, 36, a solid figure, a good friend. Will eventually make history as a coach.
MRS. HOPKINS
a black woman in her late 40's, owner of a boarding house. She's beautiful, cultured, a former singer, the extremely well-spoken embodiment of the black bourgeoisie.
The following roles have been CAST. Actors will be considered for possible replacements if necessary:
SATCHEL PAIGE
black ballplayer, 42. Tall, charismatic, a star pitcher in spite of his age. This role is cast.
BOB FELLER
white ballplayer, 32, the most famous pitcher of the major leagues. An American hero. This role is cast.
Note, the following roles will be cast with a non-AEA actor: ART YOUNG, FRANKY PALMIERI, MOIRA HOPKINS
