Strong, diverse Male, Female, and Gender Expansive Actor/Singers/Dancers.


PREPARATION

Come stretched and ready to dance. Women ID bring character heels. 16 bar comic song and big, rangy, contemporary/pop 16 bars to follow. Bring sheet music in your key. Accompanist will be provided. Bring current headshot and resume.

NOTE: This will be a very unconventional approach to JOSEPH. We are seeking a multi-racial, very individual, very comedic company! All ethnicities encouraged to attend for all roles.

NARRATOR: CAST

Seeking:
STAND-BY: (Female identifying, all ethnicities, 25-35) Superstar, rangy singer with good comic chops and a strong ear for mimicry.

JOSEPH: (Male identifying, all ethnicities, 25-35) An average Joe, regular kind of guy. An outstanding physical comedian and clown, but capable of heartfelt honesty. Strong pop-tenor, preferably to a B-flat, but with a solid F and G.

JACOB/POTIPHAR/PHAROAH: (Male identifying, all ethnicities, 45-55) A stocky, dynamic comedian. Capable of both very silly and very threatening. Fantastic singer to an A. Accomplished, rock-pianist (think Little Richard) a huge plus.

BROTHERS: (Male identifying, all ethnicities, 20-35) Physically fit, funny, strong singer/dancer. Be comfortable being shirtless on stage. Swarthy/menacing a plus; fight-skills a plus; tap a plus. All vocal ranges.

MALE ENSEMBLE: (Male identifying, all ethnicities, 25-40) Quirky comedians and singers, capable of shape shifting. Guitar playing a plus.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE: (Female identifying, all ethnicities, 20-30) Strong, dancers who sing.
