PREPARATION

Actors should prepare one or two 1-2 minute speeches of heightened language. Can be read with familiarity. Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. If you are unable to attend this in-person audition, you may submit a video audition at: auditions@austinshakespeare.org . The submission deadline is September 16th, 2024.

JANE EYRE

“Jane Eyre” is a new script devised by the Old Vic Bristol/National Theatre of Great Britain, and will be performed for the first time in the U.S. Most roles contain multiple characters, except Jane Eyre. Also seeking musicians as actors, especially those with skills in percussion, keyboard or bass guitar (electric or acoustic).
