He has a plan to become Vice Chancellor of Verona under Paris and will stop at nothing to see his plan through. Willing to sacrifice his family in order to attain ultimate power. Strong, confident, but also hiding a secret. POP/ROCK BARITENOR with an edge. Comfortable with stage combat/physical theatre. MOVES WELL. HAS AN EXCELLENT POP/ROCK/RnB SINGING VOICE.
[MERCUTIO/ENSEMBLE] male, 18-25, any ethnicity. One of the Montague’s best fighters. Funny, playful, but hot headed. Quick to make a joke but also quick to jump into a fight. Comfortable with stage combat/physical theatre. Soulful GOSPEL TENOR (with rock capability up to a Bb). MOVES WELL. HAS AN EXCELLENT POP/ROCK/RnB SINGING VOICE.
[SAMPSON/ENSEMBLE] male; early 20s, any ethnicity. A Capulet who really hates the Constantly looking for ways to stick it to them. Comfortable with stage combat/physical theatre. String POP/ROCK TENOR/MEZZO. MOVES WELL. HAS AN EXCELLENT POP/ROCK/RnB SINGING VOICE.
[GREGORY/ENSEMBLE] male; early 20s, any ethnicity. He is Sampson’s sidekick, also a bit of a troublemaker. Comfortable with stage combat/physical theatre. MOVES WELL. HAS AN EXCELLENT POP/ROCK/RnB SINGING VOICE.
