SEEKING
Equity Male Dancers for the ensemble (2 male chorus parts plus Piragua Guy ensemble part available)
ENSEMBLE
Characters are ALL ethnicities, Age 18+: The heartbeat of The Heights. The ensemble acts as our Greek chorus in the play. Performers with extraordinary Dance abilities. Hip Hop and Latin Dance experience required.
PIRAGUA GUY (Male-Latin X, Age 30-50s): Charming, friendly and devoted to what he does. He walks the hot and humid streets of Washington Heights selling piraguas (flavored ice shavings) to earn a living and he does it with the outmost pride. He represents the rhythms of the Caribbean in the big city.
PREPARATION
Be prepared to dance a combination that will be taught by Marcos Santana. Bring picture and resume.
