Staged Reading Contract: $50 for a maximum of 12 hours rehearsal and 1 performance

Seeking: AEA actors for a staged reading of the new play In the End, by Sharai Bohannon. Please
see the breakdown for details.
PREPARATION
Please prepare one contemporary monologue. You may be invited to read a side.

The reading will be performed the evening of Monday, November 18th, and rehearsals will take
place during the preceding week. The rehearsal schedule will be created based on the schedules
of the actors who are cast.

Seeking Equity actors for the next reading in Equity Library Theatre's All Access series, which features new plays with central characters who are women, people of color, people with disabilities, and/or LGBTQ+.
2019 Selection: In the End , by Sharai Bohannon
Description: Emmy and Bridget continually cross paths during the worst of times. Emmy deviates from her usual routine of comforting dying people to spend more time among humans in hopes of inspiring them to get off of their predetermined course. Meanwhile, Bridget races the clock to find her missing sister in hopes that she can still be brought home alive.

Notes on Casting This script MUST have a diverse cast. It doesn’t make sense to be in a city where everybody looks the same. Also, gender pronouns may be changed to they/their/them to accommodate actors who identify as non-binary and/or non-gender conforming. Also, please keep in mind that transgender people can and should be considered for these roles as well.
Emmy - Ethnic Woman of any age
