Award-winning Ma-Yi Theater Company seeks Equity actors for principals for its next production of a new musical, “Felix Starro.”
All Stage Management positions are currently filled.

– Baritone - Male, Asian, aged 40-70. An (in)famous faith healer from the Philippines. Felix is magnetic, charming, and can sell you the shirt off your own back. (actors of Latin or Asian decent strongly encouraged to audition)
Junior– Tenor - Male, Asian, aged 15 to 18 (but looks much younger) Felix Starro’s orphaned grandson and assistant. Young and impressionable, Junior wants to please his grandfather, but harbors dreams of his own.
Flora Ramirez – Alto - Female, Asian, aged 50-70. The proprietor of a modest flower shop. A sweet veneer hides a nononsense business mind.
Mrs. Myrna Delgado
– Alto/Mezzo - Female, Asian or Latino, aged 40-60 A prosperous, devout widow. Suffers from a terminal illness and desperate to find a cure.
– Baritone/Tenor - Asian or Latino, aged 25-30. Mrs. Delgado’s son. Male, Street-wise lawyer and well educated, but with a violent streak.
Charma – Alto/Mezzo - Female, Asian, aged 30-40 Junior’s savvy, ambitious girlfriend back in Manila. She will do anything to get to
Crystal Maglalang – Alto/Mezzo - Female, Asian, aged 16-22. Hotel maid. Not savvy in the ways of the world.
