SEEKING

Equity actors for chorus parts in ELF THE MUSICAL (see breakdown).

Dancers/Singers/Actors. Chicago based performers are highly encouraged to submit.

Actors of all gender identities, ethnicities, ages, and disabilities will be fully and fairly considered for all roles and are encouraged to submit for said roles.

See breakdown for specific Singer and Dancer submission preparation. Actors may submit both Singer and Dancer materials. ONLY STREAMABLE (YOUTUBE, VIMEO, ETC) VIDEO WILL BE ACCEPTED. DO NOT SUBMIT FILES OR FILE TRANSFER. Include Headshot/Resume.

BREAKDOWN

SINGERS: prepare the audition cut provided for ensemble. Accompaniment tracks are provided in the audition materials links below. Singers will be asked to dance if called back.

DANCERS: prepare the dance materials in the four YouTube links provided for the ensemble. These links showcase the technical requirements for the production. A full combination will be taught at the in-person callbacks. Dancers will be asked to sing if called back.

Note: All principal and chorus roles will be understudied internally and by swings.

There will be up to 12 ensemble members and additional external swings in the production.

All ensemble members will be required to dance/tap (musical theatre styles). Actors comfortable roller-skating on-stage a plus.
