Submissions from AEA members only for various roles. Seeking 3 Male Tracks, 2 Female Tracks. Any ethnicity, extremely funny, who want to play and explore. Everyone plays multiple characters. There will be very fast quick-changes. Definitely an ensemble piece.

BREAKDOWN

[ACTOR 1] (Male, Late 20’-Early 30’s, Any Ethnicity) Plays both twin brothers. A leading male who has great comedic dexterity, facility with language, and must be able to transform quickly. Will play Antipholus of Syracuse, Antipholus of Ephesus, Egeon

[ACTOR 3] (Female, Late 20’s-Late 30’s, Any Ethnicity) Wife to Antipholus. Funny, dry witted, commanding, capable, and beautiful. Must be have great facility for language and be able to adapt quickly to multiple roles. Will play Adriana, Boatswain, Angry Merchantess.

[ACTOR 4] (Female, Late 20’s-Late 30’s, Any Ethnicity) The funniest woman ever. Sister to Adriana. Sweet natured and a little silly. Must be adept at playing multiple roles. Great language skills. Will play Luciana, Luce(the cook), Courtesan

[ACTOR 5] (Male, 40’s, Any Ethnicity) Must bring many ideas to fill out small roles. Must be adept at playing many different ages and types. Command of language. Quick change artist. Will play Angelo (the gold merchant), Dr. Pinch, Watchman

[ACTOR 6] (Male, 50’s, Any Ethnicity) Willing to go really far in very theatrical way. Character actor. Experience with Shakespeare. Able to assume many different roles and many different transformations (i.e. class/stature) Flare for comedy and language.
Will play King Solinus IV, Balthazar (a random merchant), Bounty Hunter
