SEEKING:

Tevye (40-50): A pious Jewish milkman who values tradition and faith above all else. He is the father of five daughters and navigates the changing social dynamics as his girls begin to challenge traditional customs. Tevye often speaks directly to God and the audience, showing a philosophical side full of dreams and wishes. He is a robust character with a keen sense of humor, comedic instincts, excellent storytelling skills, and a strong baritone voice. Key songs include If I Were a Rich Man, Tradition, Tevye's Dream, Sunrise, Sunset, and Chavaleh Sequence.

Golde (40-45): As Tevye's wife of 25 years and mother to their five daughters, Golde is pragmatic, sharp-tongued, and resilient. She copes with their hardships through strength, grit, and a dry sense of humor. She deeply loves her family and although she's often exasperated by Tevye, there's warmth and affection there. Golde conveys a range of emotions, with excellent comic timing and a strong mezzo-soprano voice. Key songs include Sabbath Prayer, Tevye's Dream, Sunrise, Sunset, and Do You Love Me?

Tzeitel (18-25): Tevye and Golde's daughter, symbolizes a facet of the cultural shift happening in their society. Tzeitel, the eldest, defies tradition by choosing her own husband out of love. Key songs include Matchmaker, Matchmaker and Tevye's Dream.

Hodel (17 – 24): Tevye and Golde's daughter, symbolizes a facet of the cultural shift happening in their society. Hodel falls for an outsider, Perchik, who challenges their customs. Key songs include Matchmaker, Matchmaker, Now I Have Everything, and Far From the Home I Love.

Chava (15 – 20): Tevye and Golde's daughter, symbolizes a facets of the cultural shift happening in their society. She falls in love with a non-Jewish Russian, which tests Tevye's tolerance. Key songs include Matchmaker, Matchmaker and Chavaleh Sequence.

Shprintze & Bielke (8-14): the two youngest daughters of Tevye and Golde, mostly observe the changing world around them.

Motel Kamzoil (20-30): A timid and poor tailor who is in love with Tzeitel. Throughout the course of the story, he transforms from a fearful character into a man who stands up for his love. He is endearing and kind-hearted, with strong comedic skills and a tenor voice. Key songs include Miracle of Miracles and Tevye's Dream.

Perchik (20-35): A passionate, intellectual, and radical student who challenges the norms of the society. He sees education as the road to progress and is not afraid to express his revolutionary ideas. He falls for Hodel, and his influence leads her to challenge the traditions that bind her. Can command attention and has a strong tenor voice. His key song is Now I Have Everything.

Fyedka (20-30): A young, Christian Russian. He is kind, tolerant, and stands against prejudice, representing the change in the outer world. His love for Chava and respect for her faith shows his open-minded character. Singing isn't primarily required.

Yente (50-70): The village matchmaker and a busybody who loves to gossip. Despite her comedic character, she also represents the constraints of the traditional society on women. A character with a knack for comedy and timing.

Lazar Wolf (35-55): A well-off local butcher and a widower, Lazar Wolf is initially chosen by Tevye to marry Tzeitel. He's a respected member of the community, but his dreams of marrying Tzeitel are dashed when she chooses Motel. Lazar Wolf is a complex character with a powerful baritone voice. His key songs include To Life and Tevye's Dream.

WHITE CHRISTMAS is a classic Broadway musical based on the 1954 film of the same name. The heartwarming story is centered around a song-and-dance team, a sister act, and the attempt to save a failing Vermont Inn.

SEEKING:

Bob Wallace (35-40): A former army captain and half of the song-and-dance duo Wallace and Davis, Bob is a world-wise, cynical yet charming individual with a strong sense of loyalty and duty. He falls for Betty, the elder of the Haynes sisters. His key songs include Happy Holidays, White Christmas, Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep, and How Deep is the Ocean.

Phil Davis (30-35): Phil, the other half of the duo Wallace and David and is Bob's complete opposite - a fun-loving, adventurous, and somewhat mischievous individual who's always on the lookout for a good time and romance. He's instantly smitten with Judy Haynes. His main songs include The Best Things Happen While You're Dancing, Sisters (Reprise), I Love a Piano, and Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep.

Betty Haynes (30-35): Betty is the older Haynes sister. She's independent, pragmatic, and protective of her younger sister Judy. Despite her skepticism, she finds herself falling for Bob. Her featured songs include Sisters, Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep, Love, You Didn't Do Right By Me, and How Deep is the Ocean.

Judy Haynes (25-30): Judy is the more vivacious and adventurous of the Haynes sisters. She's a romantic at heart and often the driving force behind many of their decisions, including the one to follow Bob and Phil to Vermont. Her key songs include Sisters, The Best Things Happen While You're Dancing, I Love a Piano, and Snow.

General Henry Waverly (50-60): The General is a stern, authoritative figure with a gruff exterior but a kind and caring heart. He's the owner of the failing Vermont Inn and was the commanding officer of Bob and Phil during World War II. He doesn't have any solo songs, but his character plays a significant role in the plot.

Martha Watson (45-50): Martha is the General's lovable and nosy housekeeper. She's a Broadway performer in retirement and still has a flair for the dramatic. She has a heart of gold and only wants what's best for the General. Her main songs include Let Me Sing and I'm Happy and Falling Out of Love Can Be Fun.

Susan Waverly (9-12): Susan is the General's curious and intelligent granddaughter with dreams of becoming a performer. She's wise beyond her years but still has a childlike innocence about her. She sings Let Me Sing and I'm Happy.

SEEKING:

Belle (18-30): The story's heroine - smart, compassionate, assertive, and brave. She values her freedom and individuality and is considered an oddity in her village because of her love for books and her disdain for Gaston's advances. Her primary songs include Belle, Is This Home, Something There, and A Change in Me.

Beast (25-40): A Prince who was transformed into a monstrous creature by an enchantress as a punishment for his arrogance. Beneath his beastly exterior, he struggles with his need for love and acceptance. His character sings How Long Must This Go On, and If I Can't Love Her.”

Gaston (25-40): The story's antagonist - a handsome, muscular, and extremely narcissistic hunter who is relentless in his pursuit of Belle. His self-centeredness is highlighted by his belief that Belle should naturally want to marry him. Gaston's key songs include Me, Gaston, The Mob Song, and Gaston (Reprise).

LeFou (20-40): Gaston's comical sidekick who idolizes Gaston and is always trying to stay in his good graces. He provides comic relief but also shows a level of fear towards Gaston. He is featured in Gaston, Gaston (Reprise), and The Mob Song.

Maurice (45-65): Belle's eccentric father. He is an inventor and is seen as a bit odd by the townsfolk, but he shares a deep, loving bond with Belle.

Lumière (30-50): The castle's maitre d' turned into a candelabra. He is charming, warm, and romantic, with a suave French accent. He leads the ensemble in Be Our Guest and is also featured in Human Again.

Cogsworth (40-60): The castle's fastidious and nervous majordomo turned into a clock, constantly battles with Lumière over the rules and order. His main song include Human Again.

Mrs. Potts (40-60): The castle's kind and motherly housekeeper turned into a teapot. She comforts Belle and sings the iconic song Beauty and the Beast.

Chip (7-10): Mrs. Potts' son, an energetic and inquisitive young boy turned into a teacup. His innocence and optimism brighten the castle. He is featured in Be Our Guest.

Madame de la Grande Bouche (30-50): A former opera diva turned into a wardrobe, she yearns for the days of glamour and provides comic relief with her theatrical behavior. She is featured in Human Again.

Babette (25-35): The flirtatious maid of the castle turned into a feather duster. She is featured in Human Again and Be Our Guest.

Her primary songs include Omigod You Guys, What You Want, Positive, So Much Better, Legally Blonde, and Find My Way.

Emmett Forrest (25-30): A teaching assistant at Harvard Law School. He's intelligent, empathetic, modest, and becomes Elle's mentor and eventual love interest. His main songs include Chip on My Shoulder, Take It Like a Man, and Legally Blonde.

Warner Huntington III (20-25): Elle's ex-boyfriend who enrolls at Harvard Law. He's handsome and privileged, but somewhat shallow, valuing status and image over substance. He's featured in Serious, Chip on My Shoulder, and Legally Blonde Remix.

Vivienne Kensington (25-30): A serious, driven law student at Harvard and Warner's new girlfriend. She initially dislikes Elle, but they eventually develop mutual respect. She sings Serious and Legally Blonde Remix.

Paulette Buonofuonte (35-45): A warm-hearted, friendly, and slightly eccentric salon owner who becomes Elle's friend. Her main songs include Ireland, Bend and Snap, and Legally Blonde Remix.

Professor Callahan (45-60): A ruthless, prestigious law professor at Harvard who is more concerned with winning cases than with ethics. He sings in Blood in the Water and There! Right There!

Brooke Wyndham (25-35): A wealthy fitness guru and Elle's client, who's accused of murder. She's tough, charismatic, and refuses to take the easy way out. She leads the ensemble in Whipped into Shape.

Enid Hoopes (25-30): A feminist, activist, and fellow law student at Harvard. She's outspoken and highly intelligent, often standing up for what she believes in. She is featured in various group numbers.

Serena, Margot, Pilar (20-25): Elle's best friends and sorority sisters. They provide comic relief, encouragement, and pop up in Elle's mind as a Greek Chorus. They're heavily featured in songs like Omigod You Guys, Positive, Bend and Snap, and Legally Blonde Remix.
