BREAKDOWN


BORNFORTHISis a heart-warming and hilarious journey toward self-discovery. Detroit natives BeBe and CeCe Winans, youngest siblings of the Winans Family gospel dynasty, experience the ultimate in culture shocks when invited to join Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker's Praise the Lord network television show. The teenaged Winans become not only television celebrities, but also part of the Bakker family, integrating TV evangelism in the segregated South. As BeBe and CeCe encounter fame, and forge a friendship with a young Whitney Houston, BeBe must learn to balance his desireforsuccess with his true calling. The roles of BeBe and CeCe Winans are played by their real life niece and nephew.
SEEKING THE FOLLOWING ROLES:
MALE PARTIAL SWING 1 – African American Male. 20s. May appear in some scenes on-stage as well as do off-stage singing. This track will also understudy the role of BEBE WINANS.
MALE PARTIAL SWING 2 – Caucasian Male. 30s – 40s. May appear in some scenes on-stage as well as do off-stage singing. This track will also understudy the role of JIM BAKKER.
MALE PARTIAL SWING 3 – African American Male. 20s – 30s. May appear in some scenes on-stage as well as do off-stage singing. This track will also cover the on-stage male ensemble.
FEMALE PARTIAL SWING 1 – African American Female. 20s. May appear in some scenes on-stage as well as do off-stage singing. This track will also understudy the role of CECE WINANS.
FEMALE PARTIAL SWING 2 – Caucasian Female. 30s – 40s. May appear in some scenes on-stage as well as do off-stage singing. This track will also understudy the role of TAMMY FAYE BAKKER.
