Equity Chorus Call procedures are in effect. AEA Member sign-up list will be posted at the AEA Audition Center at 9:30 AM on September 23, 2010, and removed at 5 PM on September 29, 2010. The AEA Monitor will read out the list at 2:30 PM on audition day. Those on the list must be present with their current Equity cards when their names are called. Members who cannot sign the list must check in with the Monitor by 3 PM on audition day in order to be guaranteed of being seen. Children who are not Members of Actors' Equity Association (AEA) are welcome to attend, and will be seen after AEA Members.
Please wear dance clothes and bring tap, jazz and ballet shoes. Please also prepare something to sing. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided.

Seeking the following ensemble and principal positions only at this call, for possible future replacements in the Broadway company. Note: This call is for children only. Equity calls for adult roles and chorus positions are held separately by another casting office.
Ballet Girls: Ensemble characters. Ages 8 – 12, any ethnicity. Maximum height 4’10”. Seeking dancers who sing, with strong tap and good ballet. Some girls may be required to do pointe work. Seeking a variety of sizes, shapes and types, with expressive character and lots of personality, not the traditional ballerina.
Debbie: Principal role. Age 9-12, any ethnicity. Maximum height 4’10”. Daughter of Mrs. Wilkinson (Billy’s dance teacher). Outspoken, lumpy, unconsciously funny, no-nonsense, surly. Good actor, ballet, tap and singing.
