Caucasian Male. Late 20s-mid-30s. LEAD. “Clark Kent/Superman” type: starts as a nerdy publisher but blossoms into a gallant leading man. Tall (5’11” or taller), handsome, intelligent, dynamic, good command of language. Romantic lead. Has an excellent sense of himself and a logical world. Does not believe in “magic”. Jimmy Stewart played the role in the film; Rex Harrison played it in the stage play.
