MALE ENSEMBLE:
Characters are 20’s – 40’s. Masculine and tall. Strong dancers with excellent legit voices. Actively seeking all ethnicities. Please note – there are no female ensemble members in this production.
AUSTEN'S PRIDE springs to life when the author re-imagines the world of her novel. As the compelling love story of Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy unfolds, Austen learns to see both the story and herself in a new light.
All candidates must dance, act and sing well in a legit style . Standard British dialect required.
Please note: ACTIVELY SEEKING A DIVERSE CAST!
PREPARATION
Please be warmed up and ready to dance at the beginning of call. If asked to stay and sing, Please prepare 16 bars of a legit ballad from a classic Broadway musical (Rodgers and Hammerstein, Lerner and Loewe, etc). Please no contemporary musical theatre or pop/rock. Bring your book in case you are asked for additional selections. Please bring a headshot and resume.
