Music Theatre of Connecticut (Westport, CT) SPT 5; $349/week minimum Executive Artistic Director: Kevin Connors By A. R. Gurney Director: Kevin Connors Rehearses: January 29-31, 2013; Runs: February 1 - 17 weekends only. All rehearsals and performances are in Westport, CT - one hour on Metro North from Grand Central station. NYC actors commute daily and travel is paid by the theatre.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together. ANCESTRAL VOICES is an ensemblepiece designed to be read in the style of Gurney's LOVE LETTERS. The play take place in Buffalo in the late 1930's - early 1940's, and celebrates the warmth and pull of an extended family and a self-regarding, cohesive community, even as it shows how that community can turn on itself and ostracize its rebels.
