CONTRACT

Special Agreementref. to LORT C; LORT C (AEA actors will be paid $850 per week + p/h + travel/housing). (NON-AEA will be paid $500 per week + travel/housing)

SEEKING

Equity actors for the upcoming 2018 Season. Note: American Player’s Theatre plays in rotating rep. WE CAN ONLY CONSIDER ACTORS WHO ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON. Each actor in the season is cast in 3 shows.

Seeking 3 actors. Each cast in 3 shows.

SEEKING:

ACTOR TRACK 1
Male, 25 to 40. African American. Seeking a great character actor, committed to a combination of authenticity and theatricality. Will play multiple roles (in some cases of opposite gender). Will require extensive dialect work. The project that will anchor the offer will include multiple roles in the ensemble show OUR COUNTRY’S GOOD, a deeply poetic play. We’re interested in seeing AEA and NON-AEA actors.

ACTOR TRACK 2
Female, 20s to 30s. African American. Seeking a great character actor, committed to a combination of authenticity and theatricality. Will play multiple roles (in some cases of opposite gender). Will require extensive dialect work. The project that will anchor the offer will include multiple roles in the ensemble show OUR COUNTRY’S GOOD, a deeply poetic play. The actor cast will also be considered for the role of Queen Marie in EXIT THE KING. The role is the young queen to the title character in Eugene Ionesco’s absurdist masterpiece. We’re interested in seeing AEA and NON-AEA actors.

ACTOR TRACK 3 / PAUL VERRALL
Male, 35 to 45. Person of color. This actor will play Paul Verrall in Garson Kanin’s BORN YESTERDAY. He is a journalist who is fiercely intelligent, principled and idealistic. LEAD ROLE. The play is a politically charged Classic American comedy set in Washington DC just after WWII. Seeking AEA actors only.
