Seeking adult 18+ actors. Energetic, Multi- Cultural, performers with big warm personalities who are strong movers. Must be comfortable singing in various styles and have facility communicating with young audiences
early in the morning. See breakdown for more details.

PREPARATION
Please prepare a song from the Golden Age of Broadway. Bring picture and resume.

BREAKDOWN
Seeking energetic, Multi-Cultural, performers with big warm personalities who are strong movers. Must
be comfortable singing in various styles and have facility communicating with young audiences early in
the morning. All ethnicities are strongly encouraged to attend. 18+ for local Equity TYA tour of Oscar
Hammerstein II’s ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE. Oscar Hammerstein II used the theatre to promote human
understanding. He continually tackled themes of diversity, racism and cultural bias, changing the very
course of musical theatre in the process. ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE is a musical revue developed by
Inside Broadway especially for schools, that addresses the dangers of prejudice, the importance of
tolerance and the empowerment of self-esteem.

This production is performed during the morning. All performances are at New York City public
elementary and middle schools in the five boroughs. There is a 10-15 minute Q&A session with the
students directly after the performances. The morning call time is at the Inside Broadway office located
in Midtown/Hell's Kitchen Manhattan. Transportation is provided to the schools from the Inside
Broadway office.

The producer and director are strongly dedicated to interracial casting and ethnic minorities are greatly
encouraged to attend.

PLEASE NOTE: All actors are hired as Actor/ASMs and will be required to load in/load out. Also
note, that the work day will be very early mornings into mid-afternoon. Most performances are at 9:00
AM. & 10:30AM

Seeking a diverse, Multi-Cultural group of energetic and unique actors to portray many characters in
the Hammerstein cannon.

Women 1: Soprano, sings Make Believe
Women 2: Mezzo Soprano, sings Getting to Know You, Climb Every Mountain.
Man 1: Tenor, sings Make Believe, There is Nothing Like a Dame
Man 2: Baritone, sings Old Man River, You’ll Never Walk Alone, There is Nothing Like a Dame
