Nora: CAST - Jessica Chastain
Understudy for Nora: 40s. A wife and mother. Small acts of rebellion indicate she is not as happy as she appears to be, as she discovers her own potential.
Torvald: CAST - TBA
Understudy for Torvald: 40s. Nora’s husband, a lawyer and newly promoted manager of the local bank. He is infatuated with Nora, but he talks down to her and treats her like a doll. He is overly concerned with his status in society.
Krogstad: 40s. Kristine’s scorned lover and an employee at Torvald’s bank. He previously helped Nora acquire a loan in order to help her when Torvald fell ill. After Torvald fires him, he uses this loan as blackmail against Nora, trying to get his job back at all costs.
Dr. Rank: 40s. A family friend, who, unlike Torvald, treats Nora as an intelligent human being. He has a stoic acceptance of his fate, once he learns that his illness is terminal.
Kristine: 40s. One of Nora’s old friends who is practical and down-to-earth. She left her former lover, Krogstad, and married someone else for financial stability, but has now been left bankrupt after her husband’s death. She comes to Nora, looking for a job.
Anne Marie: 60s. Nora’s former nanny, the only mother-like figure Nora ever knew. A kindly woman who has genuine affection for Nora and takes care of Nora’s children as if they were her own. She gave up her own daughter in order to take the nursing job offered by Nora’s father, having sacrificed her own happiness out of economic necessity.
Ivar: 7. Nora and Torvald's son.
Emmy: 5. Nora and Torvald's daughter.
