SEEKING

Equity Stage Manager for A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

Candidates of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, and those with (dis)abilities are welcome to submit.

This year our storytelling aims to explore how Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy British businessman in 19th century Londontown, overlooks the marginalized & impoverished characters in the community—especially his employee, Bob Cratchit, an Indian immigrant struggling to support his family. Through the visits of Scrooge’s deceased business partner, Jacob Marley, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come, our protagonist recognizes the ways his obsessive “pursuit of wealth” not only harms those who love(d) him, but that this path has potentially fatal consequences for some of the neediest and some of the youngest he has long ignored. Ebenezer Scrooge transforms into a compassionate, charitable, good human.
