Establish a new Christmas tradition with A Christmas Cabaret! Award-winning director Greg Ganakas (Izzo Goes to Broadway) returns from the 2010 sold-out A Christmas Cabaret with a new celebration of the holiday season featuring Christmas standards and more musical memories including jazz, pop, Broadway and cabaret show tunes. It's a snazzy, jazzy, and nostalgic look at celebrating the holiday season Michigan style, from a Motown Christmas to a yuletide tribute to the Upper Peninsula. Tickets are on sale now at www.whartoncenter.com, at the Auto-Owners Insurance Ticket Office at Wharton Center, or by calling 1-800-WHARTON.

This all singing and dancing musical cabaret created by Ganakas, with musical direction and arrangements by Jersey Boys conductor Keith Thompson, will feature Broadway sensations Nicolette Hart (Rent, Legally Blonde), DWayne Clark (Spiderman Turn off the Dark, Tarzan), Waverly native Janeece Freeman Clark (Footloose, Urinetown the Musical), David Josefberg (The Wedding Singer, Grease), Elizabeth Stacey (Evita), and Okemos native Stephen Carrasco (Ghost, Billy Elliot). These seasoned actors are joining a spectacular show that features, an onstage show band, festive sing-a-longs and special guests, such as Santa Sparty and the lovely Lupe Izzo. Join us for a "Yooper Yuletide," "A Motown Christmas," and "Spartan Green Christmas!"

Performances are tonight, December 14 at 8PM; Saturday, December 15 at 2PM and 8PM; and Sunday, December 16 at 2PM at the Pasant Theatre at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts. Tickets are $45 plus applicable fees. For tickets, visit www.whartoncenter.com or call 517-432-2000 or 1-800-WHARTON.
