Photo Flash: DM Playhouse's AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS Begins Tonight
The Des Moines Community Playhouse presents the geographical comedy, "Around the World in 80 Days," tonight, April 10-26. BroadwayWorld has a peek at the cast below!
Raging typhoons! Runaway trains! Hold onto your seats for the original amazing race! Join fearless adventurer Phileas Fogg (Eric Olson) and his faithful manservant as they race to beat the clock. Fogg has agreed to an outrageous wager that puts both his fortune and his life at risk. With his inventive servant, Passepartout (Jason Rainwater), and a detective who thinks he's a robber on the run following his every step, Fogg sets out to circle the globe in an unlikely 80 days.
Danger, romance, and comical surprises abound in this whirlwind of a show as five actors portray 39 characters across seven continents. The Playhouse cast, which includes Katie Hanson, Tyler Kirkholm, and Dakota Rachuy, is directed by John Viars.
