NEXT TO NORMAL Comes To The Civic Center, Closes 3/20

The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical next to normal is coming the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines as part of the Willis Broadway Series and will end performances on Sunday, March 20, 2011. Alice Ripley reprises her acclaimed performance as Diana, which was honored with the 2009 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
With a thrilling contemporary score, next to normal is an emotional powerhouse of a musical about a family trying to take care of themselves and each other. Tickets for next to normal go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at the Civic Center Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, charge-by-phone at (800) 745-8000 and online at CivicCenter.org. The Civic Center of Greater Des Moines is a private not-for-profit corporation celebrating over 30 years of presenting the performing arts to Iowa and the surrounding states.
