DANCING PROS: LIVE! Coming to Des Moines Civic Center in 2015; Tickets On Sale 9/8

The world's finest dancers will battle it out live when Dancing Pros: Live! comes to the Civic Center stage on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. and the audience will choose the winner! Karina Smirnoff of Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) serves as the head judge and Edyta Sliwinska of DWTS guest judges in this unforgettable live competition show hosted by Golden Globe® nominee and star of the hit TV show Growing Pains, Alan Thicke.

Tickets to DANCING PROS: LIVE! will go on-sale Monday, Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. at DesMoinesPerformingArts.org, the Civic Center Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations and charge-by-phone at (800) 745-3000.

For the first time together on stage, see professional dancers from "Dancing with the Stars," "So You Think You Can Dance" and dance champions from around the world compete with one another for top prize! Watch in awe as they perform a variety of dance styles including Cha-Cha, Waltz, Tango, Swing, Freestyle Samba and the Jitterbug. Using electronic voting remotes, the audience will become part of the show and vote for their favorite couple. Unlike reality TV shows, there is no waiting until next week for results; the winning couple is announced at the end of the show.
