By: BWW News Desk
The Coralville Center for the Performing Arts is offering subsidized rental rates for 501(c)3 non-profit organizations with annual budgets below $100,000 through the CCPA Access Fund.
Started with funding from the Community Foundation of Johnson County, the CCPA Access fund is designed to maximize the affordability of the CCPA and to encourage use of the facility by small non-profit performing groups and other organizations. Proceeds from CCPA Apron Series concerts have also benefited the fund.Subsidies of 25-50% of rental costs are available; priority is given to applicants who demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, ability to schedule events at non-peak times, and a willingness to work cooperatively with other CCPA renters. Previous subsidy recipients include Young Footliters Theater and Girls on the Run of Eastern Iowa.Interested organizations should contact the CCPA at 319.248.9370 or coralvillearts@ci.coralville.ia.us for more information.
