Monsters and Moonlight: A LuneAseas Reviere at Center for Creativity

LuneAseas invites artists, supporters, patrons, and lovers of the beautifully strange to gather for Monsters and Moonlight: A LuneAtics Reverie, an celebration of the creatures within. The event will take place Friday, July 18, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, bringing together performance, community, imagination, and moonlit glamour in honor of LuneAseas’ 12-year anniversary.

This Creature Couture and Moonlit Formal, invites guests to dress as though they have been welcomed into something magical. Classic black tie, gowns, vintage elegance, velvet, lace, sequins, tails, capes, masks, moon crowns, and monster-inspired glamour are all welcome, but not required. Whether guests arrive in formalwear or fully embody the spirit of “Frankenstein Goes to the Ball,” they will be right at home.

Monsters and Moonlight celebrates LuneAseas’ long-running creative world of immersive performance, music, dance theatre, creature creation, and community-centered storytelling. The evening will honor the artists, collaborators, patrons, and community members who have helped shape LuneAseas over the past twelve years, while also offering a glimpse into the organization’s next era of work.

“At its heart, Monsters and Moonlight is about gathering the people who believe in imagination, transformation, and the wild beauty of community,” said Leah Casper, Executive Artistic Director of LuneAseas. “We want people to feel like they’ve been invited into a dream, where elegance and oddity belong together.”
