Silhouette Theatre Company to Present DOGS BARKING, 1/16-2/8

By:

Several months after their breakup, Neil returns to lay claim to the home he abandoned. Alex isn't giving it up without a fight. Alex's glamorous sister, Vicky and Neil's loyal friend, Ray, get caught up in the struggle. Over the course of a weekend, they scratch in the rubble that remains of their relationship, discovering hidden passion, seething jealousy and some of the tenderness they lost.

The award winning production team that brought you "The Baby Dance" and "Jailbait" returns with the Regional Premiere of "Dogs Barking" presented January 16 through February 8 at the John Hand Theater in Lowry, 7653 E. 1st Place, Denver, CO 80230. Performances are Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays at 2:00 p.m.; Sundays at 6:30 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 27 & Feb. 3 @ 7:30 p.m. *No performance Sunday, Feb. 2. Tickets are $16.00 and are available online at www.silhouettetheatrecompany.org or by calling 303-999-9143. This show contains mature subject matter and is not recommended for those under the age of 18.

The cast of four includes Jeff Jesmer (Neil), Johanna Jaquith (Alex), Amber Moffett (Vicky) and Dan Bray (Ray).

Artistic Director Paul Jaquith says, "The relationships that exist among these four characters are some of the most intense that I have ever read. I am really drawn to writing styles where the characters jump to life off of the page and Mr. Zajdlic's characters are funny, charming and extremely flawed. "
