On the morning of the local county fair, Johnny "Rooster" Byron, local waster and modern day Pied Piper, is a wanted man. Local officials want to serve him an eviction notice from the trailer park, his son wants his full attention, and his motley crew of friends wants his ample supply of drugs and booze.
This play premiered in 2009 at the Royal Court Theatre in London where it won the Evening Standard Award for Best Play.
The cast includes Augustus Truhn (Johnny Rooster), Emily Paton Davies (Dawn), John Brown (Ginger), Mark Stith (Troy), Mark Collins (Wesley), Rick Williams (Professor), Samara Bridwell (Tanya), Ren Manly (Pea),Bethany Richardson (Phaedra), John Hauzer (Lee), Ben Hilzer (Davey), Erica Fox (Mrs. Fawcett) and Peter Marullo (Mr. Parson).
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; Sundays at 6 p.m. No Show on Sunday, May 10; Industry Night, Monday, May 11@ 8 p.m. Tickets are $26, $16 on Industry Night, and are available online at www.theedgetheater.com or by calling 303-232-0363.
