MARY POPPINS to Soar Into Northglenn Youth Theatre

The Northglenn Youth Theatre presents MARY POPPINS at the DL Parsons Theatre November 10-19, 2017. MARY POPPINS is directed by the award winning Kimberly Jongejan. Cast includes youth ages 8-18 from local elementary, middle and high schools and features Elise Todd as Mary Poppins (Denver School for the Performing Arts) and Kyle Lawrence as Bert (Horizon High School).
Disney's MARY POPPINS tells the story of Bert, a jack-of-all trades, and introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it." Performances are November 10, 11, 17 and 18 at 7 pm, and November 12 and 19at 2 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for youth/seniors. Tickets are available online at NorthglennArts.org.Northglenn Youth Theatre is a City of Northglenn program, with generous funding provided by Northglenn Arts and Humanities Foundation, SCFD, Colorado Creative Industries, Dodge Sign Company, and Western Access Controls.
