The winner of Last Comic Standing (Season Two), John Heffron has made a name for himself as one of the funniest comedians on the road today. He has made numerous appearances on The Tonight Show, is a regular on Chelsea Lately, and has released two half-hour specials on Comedy Central. You've also seen him on Gene Simmons: Family Jewels, Dirt, I Love the 80's: 3D, and Comedy Central's Premium Blend.

Season two winner of NBC's hit reality series "Last Comic Standing," comedian John Heffron has become the comic to watch and love. This Detroit funnyman won the competition, as well as a talent contract and other great opportunities. When asked about his experience on the show, John said "It's a lot like high school... there are good and bad memories, in the end, I think I will only remember the good ones." The newly married 33-year-old comic is already seeing the payoffs, recently nabbing a development deal with ABC for his own sitcom. John also stars in his own half-hour Comedy Central specials "Comedy Central Presents: John Heffron", one he shot in 2004, the other in 2007. Both are played frequently on the network. John also recently released his third comedy CD The Better Half which is available on ITunes and Amazon. Heffron also served as a celebrity roaster on the dais for one of his childhood idols - Gene Simmons of KISS.

Since winning "Last Comic Standing", Heffron has been on the road non-stop, performing in comedy clubs, colleges and theatres across the country. In 2006, he appeared on stage as part of the 20-city Maxim/Bud Light "Real Men of Comedy Tour," with Joe Rogan and Charlie Murphy. John can also be seen and heard online hosting his own hour-long radio show John Heffron's Class Clown on www.Nowlive.com

Heffron started his comedy career as a student at Eastern Michigan University, skipping night classes to perform stand-up comedy. By the age of 25, John was a successful headlining comedian who decided to also put his degrees in communications and psychology to work by taking a job as radio sidekick to Danny Bonaduce on the highly rated Detroit morning show. He worked for 5 years before making his way back to Los Angeles. Since arriving in LA and making his home in Hollywood, he has made numerous television appearances including NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Late Late Show", two of his own half-hour "Comedy Central Presents" specials, CMT's "Coming to the Stage" and many others. In addition, he has also performed at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal as well as the HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen.

Also a creative entrepreneur, John (along with partner Joel Zimmer), created a card game called the "That Guy!" game which put girls on a scavenger hunt for guys (www.thatguygame.com). The game became an immediate hit when celebrities Julia Roberts, Drew Barrymore and SNL's Rachel Dratch were spotted buying the game, and Entrepreneur magazine even featured John and Joel in their Hot 100 issue in 2001.

John's material has matured and grown with him - moving on from college and videogames to jokes about adjusting to being married and weekly visits to Home Depot. Audiences happily join him on the ride. With his recent television success and high profile projects in the works, John is well on his way to being "That Guy who has his own show."
