Denver Center Theatre Company’s TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD Runs 9/30-10/30

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD is the story of Atticus Finch, an attorney in the segregated South of the 1930s, who courageously defends a black man accused of rape. Directed by Sabin Epstein with indelible characters and gripping suspense, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD examines the loss of innocence and acts of extraordinary personal courage in a time of fear.The cast of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD includes DCTC veteran actors John Hutton (A Midsummer Night's Dream, The House of the Spirits) as Atticus Finch, Philip Pleasants (A Midsummer Night's Dream, A Christmas Carol) as Walter Cunningham/Judge Taylor, Kathleen M. Brady (Superior Donuts, Dracula) as Mrs. Dubose and Mike Hartman (Superior Donuts, The Catch) as Mr. Radley/Bob Ewell. Playing Jean Louise is Kathleen McCall (A Midsummer Night's Dream, Othello), Calpurnia is Kim Staunton (Ruined, A Raisin in the Sun), Reverend Sykes is Charles Weldon (Mama Hated Diesels, Radio Golf) and Heck Tate is Jeffrey Roark (Mama Hated Diesels, A Christmas Carol). William Hahn (King Lear) plays Boo Radley, Lawrence Hecht (A Midsummer's Night Dream, The House of the Spirits) is Mr. Gilmer and Thomas Russo is Dill (A Christmas Carol, Eventide). Debuting at the DCTC are Tyrien Obahnjoko as Tom Robinson, Kimberly McWilliams as Mrs. Robinson/Townsperson, Caroline Rosenblum as Scout and Matthew Gary as Jem.
