David Weingarden Joins Z2 Entertainment as Talent Buyer

David Weingarden joins Z2 Entertainment as Talent Buyer on October 28th. David will work with Ben Baruch booking both the Boulder and Fox Theatres in Boulder, Colorado.

David was appointed Director of Concerts/Talent Buyer for Swallow Hill Music in 2008. He has booked and overseen the team who produced 300+ concerts, festivals, & events per year, including the esteemed Denver Botanic Gardens Summer Concert Series. Originally from Michigan, David relocated to Colorado from San Francisco in 2007, where he worked in artist management. He has also worked as tour merchandise manager in the 90s for multi-platinum artists The Verve Pipe and Tonic, served as Front of House Manager for the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, and worked for American General Media and Sports Express in Durango. His music business career began at Michigan State University in the early 1990s. David received his Executive MBA from the University of Denver in August 2011. He lives in Denver with his family.
