Maxine and Mark Rossman, founders of the Cherry Creek Theatre Company, announced a new sponsorship agreement with the Denver Film Society. The Rossman's will now sponsor monthly screenings of the National Theatre Live (NTL) programming at the Sie FilmCenter. NTL is the National Theatre's ground-breaking project to broadcast the best of British theater live from the London stage to cinemas around the world.

Prior to their sponsorship of NTL, the Rossman's sponsored the Denver Film Society's monthly DocNight Program for four years. DocNight shines a light on the genre from all angles with the director of the film in-person to host a post-screening Q&A with the audience. Whether it is bringing a documentary filmmaker to town, or bringing the National Theatre to Denver, the Rossman's are passionate about bringing art to the community.

"We feel the transition to presenting National Theater Live is the natural next step in bringing extraordinary arts opportunities to Denver," says Maxine Rossman, Co-Founder of the Cherry Creek Theatre. "Both the Cherry Creek Theater and NTL offer a broad range of high quality theater productions - be it live or on-screen. We are thrilled to be able to share this programming with our audiences to drive the mission of both the Denver Film Society and the Cherry Creek Theatre."

The first NTL presentation sponsored by the Rossman's, OF MICE AND MEN (starring James Franco and Chris O'Dowd) is scheduled for Thursday, March 12th. The Rossman's will be on hand to introduce the screening at the Sie FilmCenter and also welcome their patron guests from the Cherry Creek Theatre Company and other members of the theater community for the inaugural event. Highlights for the rest of the NTL lineup include; BEHIND THE BEAUTIFUL FOREVERS (April 9 & 12), THE HARD PROBLEM (May 14 & 17), MAN AND SUPERMAN (June 11 & 14), A VIEW FROM A BRIDGE (July 16 & 19) and EVERYMAN (August 20 & 23).

Tickets for OF MICE AND MEN, and the rest of the NTL events are available for purchase at www.denverfilm.org at $15 for DFS Members and $18 for non-Members.
