Candlelight Dinner Playhouse to Present SCROOGE, 11/14-1/5
The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse will present the musical extravaganza, SCROOGE, opening November 14 and playing through January 5, 2014.
Leslie Bricusse's spectacular musical SCROOGE is a heart-warming family story based on Charles Dickens' classic 'A Christmas Carol'. Adapted from the award-winning film starring Albert Finney, SCROOGE boasts an epic score, featuring the Oscar-nominated hit "Thank You Very Much". SCROOGE is a pure hit family entertainment from overture to final curtain.
"The Candlelight is excited to be enhancing our yuletide favorite with many surprises which will make this SCROOGE a more magical experience than ever before" says show director, Patrick Sawyer. "In fact, we have everything from ice-skaters to snow on stage to flying ghosts. And of course the amazing Dickens' characters that have a new vitality which makes them larger than life", Sawyer adds. "Scrooge's journey to redemption is breathtaking."
